Ingredients

Apple cinnamon

  • 2 large apples
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp brown sugar

Crumble mix

  • 25 g oats
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 70 g pecans chopped
  • 50 g butter
  • 40 g flour

Cream

  • 300 ml Whipping cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar

Instructions

  • Cut apples into smaller pieces. See tips below on peeling apples.
  • Fry with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon until softened. Set aside to cool.
  • Mix oats, cinnamon and brown sugar in a bowl.
  • Roughly chop pecans. Add to oats bowl.
  • Pinch together butter and flour to make a crumbly dough.
  • Spread the dough on a cookie sheet. If it sticks together to much, separate with your fingers, you want smallish crumbly pieces of dough.
  • Add the oats mix to the cookie sheet and mix all.
  • Bake in the oven at 175 °C/300 °F for 10-12 minutes.
  • Whisk cream and vanilla sugar loose.
  • Layer apples, crumble and whipped cream in a tall glass.
  • Garnish with a few apple pieces on top.

Notes

Tips: I prefer to not peel the apples, as it keeps the structure better if not peeled. But it is a preference.
