Pull apart pizza bread

A fun way to share a pizza with this delicious pull apart pizza recipe. Using wraps to cut down the construction time. Roll up the wraps with the filling, cut them in smaller chunks and start building your pull apart pizza.

Equipment

  • 1 Spring form with middle inset 24 cm (9,5 inches) in diameter

Ingredients

  • 5 or 6 8” tortilla bread
  • 200 g cheese shredded
  • 250 g fresh mozzarella diced

Marinara sauce

  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 100 g water
  • 200 g passata
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

Instructions

Marinara Sauce

  • Peel and mince garlic, fry in a little bit of vegetable oil, until fragrant.
  • Add all other ingredients and stir together.
  • Bring to boil, then simmer under lid at least 30 minutes.
  • Let cool for 30 minutes before adding the sauce to the tortillas.

Assemble the pull apart pizza

  • Shred the cheese and dice the mozzarella.
  • Place one tortilla on your work surface. Spread two table spoons of marinara sauce on the tortilla.
  • Add a hand full of mozzarella and a hand full of shredded cheese.
  • Roll up the tortilla and cut in 3 cm long pieces.
  • Place in your spring form, cut side up, close together.
  • Repeat the process until the whole spring form is filled with rolled up pizza.
  • Add more shredded cheese on top of the pull apart bread.
  • Put in the middle of your oven at 175 degrees Celsius, Fan, for 15 minutes.
  • Take out and let cool for a bit before releasing the spring form.

Notes

Serve with: BBQ sauce or 3-2-1 dressing
Wait to pull the pizza apart until it has cooled somewhat, this will make it easier to pull apart while keeping it rolled up.
The amount of tortillas to use depends on how much filling you use, the size of your roll ups and the size of your spring form.
