Ingredients
5babybel
50mlflour
1egg
50mlpanko bread crumbs
1tbspoil
Optional extra
Green pesto
Sambal Olek
White sesame seeds
Instructions
Take the cheese out of its casing.
Put the flour on a plate
Crack the egg in a bowl and stir with a fork to mix the white and yolk.
Pour the panko bread crumbs on a plate.
Cover the cheese in flour, then dip in the egg.
Put the cheese in the panko bread crumb and cover the whole cheese with bread crumbs.
Put oil in a frying pan and let it get proper hot before adding the cheese.
Let it brown on one side, about three minutes, before flipping them over and let brown on the opposite side.
Let drain on a piece of kitchen towel before serving.
Serve warm and gooey as a small snack.
Notes
To add pesto or Sambal Olek, cut the Babybell in half lengthwise, like a hamburger bun, spread the pesto or Sambal Olek on one side, put back together and continue on step 4.
