Substitutes
Do you have old, sad vegetables in your fridge that you need to use? Use them up! Save more money by not having to throw away food that is on its last legs. Use them in this fakeaway recipe.
If you prefer to add meat, add chicken, meat or minced meat. Cut the protein to pieces the size of your vegetables and fry them first. Set aside while adding vegetables to the pan and add back in before adding the sauce. Make sure your meat is cooked all the way through.

Freezable
The stir-fry fakeaway can easily be frozen to make your option even quicker next time you are reaching for your favourite food ordering app. A tips is to freeze your rice or noodles separate from your vegetables to increase the flexibility, you might want to use that rice or noodles for a different dish or if you served the stir-fry with rice last time, you can quickly cook some noodles for next time.

Batch cooking tips
Make the sauce in a big batch, keep it in the fridge in a well sealed container to have it available for whenever you are ready to cook your next fakeaway. Faster than ordering takeaway.
